The Dhammapada is a collection of verses in the Pāli canon, with related collections in other Buddhist languages. It addresses conduct, attention, wisdom and liberation. Verses 19–20 distinguish reciting much from living the teaching. Read a verse with its context and translation credited, rather than relying on an unattributed quotation image. Choose one implication for your conduct and revisit it after trying it.
